We are in the midst of a horribly sticky heat wave.  Stepping onto the elevator in the parking garage this morning, I looked down at a cute little tyke sitting in his/her stroller wearing a light blue striped sleeveless romper.  “Gee,” I said, “I wish I could wear that to work.”

The mother replied, “Yes, wouldn’t it be great.  We could all wear rompers and not worry about matching our outfits everyday.”

The third woman in the elevator said, “Well, if we do that, we should also all shave our heads so we don’t have to dry our hair in the morning.”

Having thus solved all future summer sartorial conundrums, we stepped out of the elevator and sweated our way across the blocks to our various offices.
